About Us
EZRAGUITAR Israel
In 2008, EZRAGUITAR Co-Founders, Israeli Classical Guitarist Maoz Ezra and Soprano, Leilah Dione Ezra, opened their guitar conservatory in Brooklyn, NY with a clear mission to provide the highest level of CLASSICAL GUITAR training to children as young as 4 years old to teens, adults and professional levels. The goal being to make the guitar a primary instrument, just like piano and violin and to teach music in a way that develops a deep and true love of creating and sharing the art of classical guitar….connecting to music for life! In the beginning EzraGuitar classes would be taught in various rented spaces throughout Brooklyn, then quite quickly, in 2009 began offering, in addition, classes in After School Programs in Public schools. Since its establishment, EzraGuitar has taught in 18 public and private schools throughout New York City, and continues to maintain many of those relationships until today, always adding and expanding its programming and outreach to more and more communities of students each year. In 2014, EzraGuitar laid down its roots and opened its own studio in Brooklyn, NY where a full roster of private and group students of all ages come to study guitar as well as a full complimentary arts enrichment program.
As of September 2020, thousands of students have passed through our doors and we have assembled one of the most prestigious faculties worldwide, composed of some of the most talented teaching artists coming from all over the world. It is with great pride that we now open a new branch of EzraGuitar in Israel! With the hope of bringing our unique method of teaching to a new community! We look forward to meeting you on this musical journey!

Israeli Classical Guitarist Maoz Ezra began his journey with the guitar at the age of 10. From the very beginning of his studies he was inspired by the great Masters of the guitar and composers, such as Andreas Segovia, Jullian Bream, J.S. Bach & Robert Schuman as well as his teacher, Yehuda Shryer, who shaped his musical taste and directed his passion for making music. After his military service in the Israeli Army, Maoz began to discover his own passion for teaching guitar. He quickly established a studio of more than 30 students that he would travel to their homes throughout the Sharone area on his scooter to teach weekly lessons.
